A woman was expelled from the plane on Air New Zealand for refusing to watch the safety and security instruction video
The woman was on a plane flying from Wellington towards Auckland, on Tuesday, on flight number "NZ424".
The source stated that the woman, described by some passengers as "rich-looking", refused the flight attendants' requests that it was necessary to watch a video of safety instructions for passengers.
A passenger told a local New Zealand website: "When the video started, the woman refused to watch and took her face down."
He continued, "The flight attendants tried politely to urge the woman to watch or at least listen, but the passenger put her hands on her ears, completely ignoring the flight attendants."
After the passengers and crew were impatient, the captain had to drop the passenger because of her "refusal to comply with the crew's instructions," while a spokesperson for New Zealand Airlines said that the police were waiting at the gate to investigate the woman.
