Mobile phone addiction and its relationship to depression
According to the study conducted in Australia at Western Sydney University using the data of 85,000 people collected from the British (Biobank), which specializes in research. The researchers in this study confirmed that reducing mobile phone use helps to sleep better at night and protects a large proportion of Depression.
The results of the study found a strong relationship between mobile phone use, physical activity and diet, and depression.
People with depression were in a good psychological state before their addiction to the mobile phone, but it was not limited to depression only, as it extended to (psychological disorders) and memberships especially for people who use the phone all day and leave it only the moment of sleep.
The experts gave advice not to staring at the screen too much to maintain the safety of the eyes, (and to look for more beneficial means such as exercise) or any physical activity for entertainment, as staying in front of the screen for a long time helps to stay up late at night and this causes a feeling of hunger. And eating without any physical exertion is not desirable for the maintenance of (general health).
