New US restrictions on Chinese Communist Party members
Strict new rules were adopted for the entry of Chinese Communist Party members into the United States of America, and those rules began to be implemented on Wednesday.
These restrictions will limit the period of entry visas granted to members of the Chinese Communist Party and their family members to one month only, and they are only allowed to enter once.
"For decades, we have allowed members of the Chinese Communist Party to freely and unimpeded entry to American institutions and companies, although these same advantages were never provided freely to American citizens in China," a Foreign Ministry spokesman reported by the New York Times confirmed.
In the recent period, relations between the two countries have witnessed tensions in various fields. During this year, China expelled about 15 American journalists who were working for major newspapers.
For its part, the United States of America reduced the funds granted to Chinese journalists working for government agencies, and tightened censorship of the Chinese media on its soil as they are propaganda devices for the Chinese regime.
The Trump administration has also canceled the visas of a thousand Chinese students and researchers in America who are suspected of being spies.
For its part, China considered this matter as political persecution and racial discrimination
