Trump announces that Corona will end in America thanks to the American medical miracle
A month ago, US President Donald Trump announced that vaccination operations would begin as soon as the US Food and Drug Administration approved the vaccine made by Pfizer and Biontech.
"We have already started distributing the vaccine to all states, and the vaccination process will take place within the next 24 hours," he said on his Twitter account.
He added that the American people achieved a medical miracle within only 9 months by producing the vaccine against the Coronavirus, and indicated that the priority is for the elderly and medical workers, and he expected that this would reduce the number of injuries and deaths.
"We have given Pfizer 2 billion dollars in order to produce another 100 million doses with the potential to produce an additional 500 million doses," he said.
Ali stressed that the vaccine will be free for all American citizens.
He concluded by saying that the Corona virus originated from China, but will end in the United States of America.
Trump's comments came as the United States counted, on Friday, a new record of Coronavirus infections, which reached about 235,000 cases within 24 hours, according to a statistic from Johns Hopkins University.
According to the university, which constantly updates its data, the number of new deaths due to the virus in the country during the same period of time "24 hours" reached about 2,600, and there are currently more than 108,000 people in hospitals.
Trump signed a decree giving his country priority in receiving vaccines before exporting them to other countries, to address the large outbreak of the epidemic.
The United States purchased an additional 100 million doses of the "Moderna" vaccine to treat Covid-19, according to the US Department of Health, Friday, in a statement.
These doses are added to the 100 million doses of this vaccine that the United States had previously requested from the American company.
The United States has also purchased 100 million doses of the vaccine developed by the Pfizer and Bionic Alliance.
The United States hopes to vaccinate 20 million people this month, 100 million by February, and the entire population by June.
